Bill Becknell is President of Dental Teams for Mortenson Dental Partners, a 120 practice Dental Support Organization, based in Louisville, KY. Bill joined Mortenson’s in 2014 from PPG Industries where he was Director of Store Operations for North America. At PPG, Bill was responsible for more than 800 company owned stores across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. During Bill’s tenure at PPG the store business grew from 357 locations in 2007 to 867 in 2014. Prior to PPG, Bill spent 21 years in the grocery industry with The Kroger Company serving in various positions. When recruited by PPG, Bill was Manager of Store Operations for Kroger’s Mid-South Division, a 156 store chain serving Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, and Tennessee.
Bill earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from American InterContinental University and completed the Executive MBA program at University of Pittsburgh Kratz School of Business. Bill has completed executive programs at the University of Notre Dame and Kellogg School of Business. Bill consults on leadership, business and strategy to growing multi-unit businesses through “Scaling Up” a Group Dentistry Symposium and “The Process”, a mastermind group for growing Dental Service Organizations.
Bill enjoys spending quality time with his wife Debra and their 3 kids, Elizabeth, Madison and Parker. Bill also enjoys serving in the community and is an active board member for the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation.
