Cheryl has coached team members and leaders at all levels throughout her career at several Fortune 500 Companies. Her areas of expertise include learning and development, leadership advancement, change leadership, and the ability to create cultural shifts in the workplace. She is a skilled trainer and facilitator, and an ICF accredited coach. Cheryl managed her own executive coaching and consulting practice for seven years and held corporate positions at Bellsouth Publishing, Allstate Financial, and most recently Humana. While at Humana, she led the Professional Development team for Clinical Learning, encompassing Leadership Development and Continuing Education. She worked closely with clinical leaders to develop comprehensive learning plans to increase skill proficiency and drive team member engagement. Cheryl is a Kentucky native (Bardstown) and a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where she studied Telecommunications and Broadcast Journalism. Cheryl received her Executive MBA at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management (Chicago, IL). She is a professionally trained coach through Coaches Training Institute and has certifications in a variety of training and professional development programs. Cheryl lives in Louisville with her husband, Steve, has two children, Elizabeth and Steven, and one very spoiled dog – Ozzie. Cheryl enjoys playing tennis, cooking and going to the movies.
